Natchez, MS Man Charged with Child Molestation
An Adams County Mississippi man has been charged with sexual battery for touching a young child for lustful fulfillment and gratification, police officers reported.
On March 25, 2020, Adams County Sheriff’s officers received a call from the father of a the young child.
The father, told the sheriff’s officer the incident happened at his ex-wife’s house and that the ex-wife was not aware of the alleged sexual battery.
A warrant was issued for the arrest Douglas Maxie. Mr. Maxie turned himself in to the Natchez Mississippi Police on Monday where he was arrested and was being held without a bond. The charges can carry a maximum of 15 years.
